Thought this simply beautiful, so it will probably find it's way into some further exploration. I have a feeling that this piece of equipment may not be mining-related, as there were other things like butter churns in the fore-museum.

This piece is based on a photo of a photo on display at the Hollinger mine tour in Timmins. It very much reminds me of the hoistroom view (or what I remember it to be) when I was a kid in Noranda and taken to the mine where my Dad worked.
