Photos (for a change of pace)

Great thing about artwork is being able to take your reference photo and turn it into the mood and space you want to create. Sometimes the photo says it all so perfectly. This was taken from the QEW on the way to St. Catharines (as were the ones I used for the ealier drawings).

About travel journals

Long before scrapbooking became an industry with it's own unintelligible vocabulary, I'd get to sticking stuff into my sketchbook...generally for "later" use, or a half-baked idea. There are pages of rage. Boredom. Doodles. Pretty flowers.

A few years ago, I thought I'd keep all my travel stuff in one place; and it kind of took over the basement. That, and the music stuff. Oh, and the photographs that made it beyond snapshot category. Oh yeah, and all those little clay bits and pieces. Lately, I've felt like sewing.

If something hasn't gone up here for a while, come visit Little Black Sketchbook (the new home of art leftovers).
